Access information on using geological maps via WMS

The maps listed here are provided as Web Map Service (WMS). A WMS allows the direct access to the geodata of these maps.

For displaying a WMS compatible programme is required:

• Google Earth, ESRI ArcGIS Explorer, etc.,
• GIS Programme,
• Internet Map Application with WMS import function.

The product list of the Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) shows WMS capable programmes actually registered there.
